  1. Judy Dudich has a wonderful spot on her blog where you can post what your thankful for during your week. Here are my five things I am thankful for on this Thanksgiving day.

    1) I'm thankful that the rain stopped so that my mother and brother were able to travel to our house. I haven't seen my mother since Easter. It is a joy to see her well.

    2) I was thankful for making the stuffing yesterday and for my husband who was in charge of cooking the Turkey and making mashed potatoes today. It really is hard work pealing all those potatoes as my two college bound sons eat them up. Therefore, we need alot of them. Which brings me to #3.

    3) I am thankful for the Deja Vu cosmetic product I purchased for my nails and hands. A young girl in the mall let me try it and I noticed how dry my hands were compared to hers. It was a bit pricey but really helps my nails and hands. I also wear rubber gloves if I have to wash alot of dishes. I know it is old fashioned, but I have to do something for my hands.

    4) I am thankful for being able to see my two oldest home from college on this Thanksgiving. We really had a great and enjoyable dinner. I am also thankful for the fact that they have chosen their majors: engineering and psychology.

    5) I am thankful for this holiday. Therefore, I am thankful for the act of being grateful. I so often tell my kids to thank God before they petition Him. It is such an important virtue and cannot be overlooked.
